By accessing our site, submitting an application, creating an account, or enrolling in a program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

modern mat provides online teacher training in mat-based movement — including Pilates-inspired work, sculpt, and strength — delivered through self-paced modules, assessments, mentor review, and a practicum. In-person cohort weekends may be offered as described at enrollment. Completion of all requirements may lead to modern mat certification as described in the curriculum.

This is a professional development program, not medical advice, physical therapy, or a license to practice medicine. You are responsible for meeting any local requirements to teach in your area.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We review applications and notify you of status. Payment and course access are available only after acceptance, unless we communicate otherwise.

You must provide accurate information in your application and use the same email for your account and application so we can link your enrollment.

Tuition is processed through Stripe at the prices shown on /pricing at the time of checkout. Installment plans, if offered, continue until completed or cancelled per Stripe subscription terms.

Refund policy. Because this is digital educational content with immediate access upon enrollment, all sales are generally final once course access is granted. If you need to withdraw before accessing materials, contact us within 7 days of payment. We may offer partial refunds or credit at our discretion. Nothing here limits rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Enrolled students receive a personal, non-transferable license to access course materials for the duration of the program and any stated post-completion access period. You may not share login credentials, redistribute course content, or resell materials.

You agree to participate respectfully — in written submissions, peer review, and any live or recorded interactions. We may suspend or terminate access for harassment, plagiarism, or misuse of the platform.

All course content, branding, and platform materials are owned by modern mat or its licensors. Your capstone videos and written submissions remain yours; you grant us a license to review, store, and use them for certification, quality assurance, and program improvement.

The platform and content are provided "as is." We do not warrant uninterrupted access or that completion of the program will result in employment or income. Movement training carries inherent risk; you participate at your own risk and should consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, modern mat and its instructors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or program. Our total liability for any claim related to your enrollment is limited to the amount you paid for that enrollment in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our privacy policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
